A History of Growth

2009
Nuvan Seneviratne founds a new AV integration company from his garage, focused on high-end residential systems.
2012
Company assumes the name National Technology Integrators to reflect geographical expansion and addition of structured cabling, networking, and security capabilities.
2019
Mike Wilson joins as partner. His experience, relationships, and business acumen fuels several years of growth.
2020
NTI acquires Tricore Systems and Veritas, adding highly experienced electrical and security capabilities with a strong track record of work on large government contracts.
2020
NTI moves into new 24,000 sq ft headquarters in Gaithersburg, MD.
2022
Dave Hummer named GM of the low voltage division, bringing three decades of experience to NTI’s structured cabling services.
2022
Joe Wethje joins as partner, bringing 15+ years of enterprise sales leadership to NTI.
2023
Aaron Duran joins as Regional Director in Denver office, overseeing operations in the West.
2024
NTI acquires Maryland Applicators (MDA), adding carpentry, framing, and drywall capabilities, and bringing a long history of work in the Washington, DC metro region.
2025
NTI consolidates operations at new 50,000 sq ft headquarters in Rockville, MD.
